As some of you know, I'm got a small part in an online store focusing on affordable home automation.

We've recently put through a proposal for the Owl Energy Monitoring system (http://www.theowl.com/) - specifically their smart Intuition systems (available for solar too). We should be testing these shortly to see how they function, but I feel they're probably be a winner in this market. There are the standard basic systems as well - but the Intuition comes with something that should be able to assist those technically minded :

OWL Intuition Internet connected energy monitoring and heating control products are able to push collected data in near real time both on the LAN and WAN for value added third party logging and data analysis etc. Additionally, it is possible to configure and control the system. These features are standard on all OWL Intuition products (Network OWL firmware version 2.1 onwards).

Just curious on general thoughts ?
