I have fitted my Emotiva outdoor speakers and they are very nice. I made it so that I can easily remove the speakers from the wall and plan to use banana plugs with them for quick disconnect.
Now what will happen if the banana plugs are not plugged into the speakers and I switch the amp on while they are touching?
When I unplug the banana plugs should I rather put some "covers" on them to make sure they don't touch/short? If so what can I use?
