My Garrard 401 has a hard spot on the idler wheel, feels like a hard bit in the rubber (small dot), it is also a bit shiny, so think it could do with some refurbishing.
Any suggestions on how to service, I have cleaned etc with alchohol. but am wary to take anything sharp/abrasive to it as I may make it oval, which I assume would be bad..
