I am busy with a speaker project at the moment (pictures will follow) and was wondering if this idea is folly or not?
I want some learning options with these speakers and thought that maybe a terminal config as pictures might be a good way to achieve some objectives...
Firstly what are the long term goals and objectives?
In the future I want to invest in some measuring equipment so that I can design my own speakers from scratch (instead of building proven projects). :
But. Learning is expensive. So what I though was that I can build these speakers in such a way that in the future I can reconfigure the way they are plugged and played to add some options...
So with this config I can buy myself options...
The biggest drawback that I can see is that I would be introducing a whole lot more unnecessary connections...
So. Be honest. Folly or not? ??? ??? ???

- Bi-wire
- Bi-amp
- Active Crossover
- External Crossover
