Granite and some marble slabs
« on: April 14, 2019, 04:36:58 PM »
From a church project

I will bring these home from site if anyone wants.  I visit there twice a month and last week there were about 16 left

Size: 490 x 150 x 22mm.  Polished on one size only

Can also get white marble, about half the size.  Going there on Tuesday and will bring back some

Collect in Plumstead (Cape Town) please

Even duct tape can’t fix stupid… but it can muffle the sound

Find the nearest kitchen installers and talk to the foreman. A 6-pack will get you smaller off-cuts sized, edges radiused and polished to your spec - like, speaker plinths or a turntable isolation base. Normally, they throw away small off-cuts so it's a win-win.  :dop:

I would love to have them if they are still available. I have a home project they would be useful.

Got 12 pieces and all gone.  What is left is either damaged, cut badly or full of concrete

Please close, thank you

There is a monumental mason (not a large guy, but someone who makes grave headstones   :Whoohoo:).  I approached him once for off-cuts but there was nothing for free.  Yet his yard was 1 metre deep in offcuts
