Mr CT watches, if I may make a teeny suggestion:

Fasten the multiplug to the wall
Tie the excess cables together with reusable cable ties
Use some trunking

Thanks Chris, of course you are quite correct and thanks for the good advice.
What do you charge per half hour...?  :BWAHAHAH:

Seriously, I'm constantly moving stuff around and simply haven't made nice.
That and chronic laziness. I would absolutely pay someone to do it.

@capetownwatches , What is that stand, where did you get it?

You're in luck! They have a demo unit for sale:

https://www.ergonomicsdirect.co.za/end-of-range-and-demo-units/demo-sit-stand-monitor-lift/

I paid R999 for mine.

PS: The cables...just get some plastic hooks and stick them on the back of the desk, or on the wall; just hang cables over them, so they're not on the floor. Quick'n'easy.

Great suggestion! I'll consider it as a possible solution.

All Arie's fault I tell you!

Before ... leaning tower of Head-Fi ....

After ...

You won't believe the improvements this has made! Greater sense of clarity, detail and space, height specifically. The congestion ... all gone! More air around each piece. Not as warm as before.

And it sounds better ... like a clean car drives better ...

Thanks for the heads-up Arie!  They have more in stock at R 799 less 10% if you apply the discount coupon on the home page.

At R12k ouch!!!

if the AR is too rich for your blood there are some decent less costly alternatives to be had as discussed elsewhere  .... for example if you also have bluetooth headphones to supplement your wired collection there is this here

https://www.cplanaudio.co.za/collections/fiio/products/fiio-m9-the-ultimate-in-versatility-portable-high-resolution-audio-player-ships-in-2-3-weeks

and if you only have wired headphones then add one of these to your order

https://www.cplanaudio.co.za/collections/fiio/products/fiio-btr3-bluetooth-headphone-amplifier-ships-next-day

and transmit via LDAC which is way less compressed - almost like wirelessly streaming at FLAC rates
