Right here is my C&N Boom Box
First off it had to be done from items I already had with the exception of fasteners and handle. So no spending moolah was allowed.
It also had do double up as a type of Soundbar for bedroom TV/Movie watching or listening to Tunes.
Basically I had a Creative 2.1 Sub laying in storage as well as a set of old Logitech speakers and a SB3. I also did not want this thing to be bloody heavy so decided to use spare laminate floorboards. The floor boards are 8mm thick and I drilled and tapped 4mm threaded holes(super glue on threads) to fasten the front panels.Me thinks 3mm would have been better as the laminate boards did split slightly in one or two places.
The handle was like R13 from Gelmar and pulls out to carry the box.
The SB3 can be either Remote Controlled or Controlled via Roon app on phone.
So not bad for under R20 :groovy:
Probably gonna fill the back with batting and close that off once I am happy with it.
