I had to order components from Mouser in the US for my amp re-cap project and thought I would remove the less than ideal Chinese caps from the D1 and replace with Nichion audio grade ones while I was at it.
Can't honestly say if there is a marked improvement in the D1 specifically as I've reconditioned the amp and speaker crossovers as well, but the whole system is sounding fantastic and I feel better about quality components in the D1.
