As in the title....
Amplifier has transformer output with both 70V tap a 100V tap.
Is there an practical reason why you cannot connect the loudspeaker load between the 70V tap and the 100V tap, and not use the common/earth - making, as it were - a 30V line driving system?
Transformer theory says this is allowed: but do real-life line transformers have latent limitations?
