A proactive question:
Does your insurance cover damage from power spikes that are caused by the fcuk!ng escom load shedding. I was at a tv/hi-fi shop in pta yesterday and they lost 5 tv's, all their hdmi splitters and 2 mini hifi's yesterday. Everything that broke was on surge protectors.
So it looks like one would not be able to stop it.
