Got me thinking, would we still have optical discs in say, 10 years? Or 20 years? If USB flash drives production cost drops below a certain price point, would it not make more sense to stop producing optical discs (cd/dvd/bluray)?
How far are we from that point, taking into account that a CD manufacturing cost is ridiculously low, if that is even a factor?
