Dynatron Radio, Model LS-275 Cab Refurbish

So I got these from a guy down the road, he was cleaning out he's garage, and was going to put them out with the dirt,  :mates:

I wanted to know from guys that done older cabs, will a light sand work without removing the veneer  , then a oil rub to get the wood colour back
