Stock landed in JHB, thankyou Johan, hope some others in SA have also discovered these interestingly engineered transportable audio devices -now the xCan makes it truly portable & personal with AAC/aptX wireless driving high impedance cans up to 600ohms.

Thankyou Johan | AudioExchange for making available the xCan >after deciding to invest in my 1st pair of headphones it became apparent mobile DAC's wired or unwired have many uses, mobile, personal, portable & transportable categories. -this xCan drives 480ohm 45mm headphone cans to 16ohm IEM's -the most linear response i have ever heard from a device with tight gain -iFi done something weird again -they always concentrate on a refined analogue out.
I can only think of a FiiO Q5 or triple priced gear sounding say somewhat more 'resolving'.
Listening to 320kbs/48khz media the Sabre DAC with AAC wireless transport perfectly suited.

Sorry Naughty for late reply, it was around R5200 exactly ROE dollar ratio which is somewhat rare in ZA. xCan not AptX-HD or LDAC -except their 16bit linear aptX @48hz sounds for me more than LDAC 24bit [320kbs mp3 to 16 bit 44.1khz .wav (no DSD) compared direct from AKN 4490 DAC's] single ended.
I'm fortunate to listen on Audio Technica ATH-R70X 480 ohms / AT MSR7 35 ohm and 16 ohm FiiO FH5 IEM's
iDac2/Black Label/iTube2/USB3.0
FiiO Q1/BTR3/A5

If i'm allowed to say iFi make the most peculiar transportable products, iDac2 raw clean direct output ready to push tubes or plug-in to your invested pre-amp -Black Label with much refined analogue out for phones, if i had known before 4 modules later i might as well just got their top component incorporates every circuit except their iESL for driving magneplanar diaphragms. i don't regret money spent on their individual modules, had no intent of passing the 10K mark -in the end just kidding myself.. 200% audio infidelity to hopefully experience another 20% fidelity.
New younger generation discovering vinyl iFi offer a phono RIAA stage module, MM & MC, not sure what else could be available in SA at whatever price range.
