Wantitall??
« on: February 09, 2019, 11:10:23 PM »
After a slight blowout with Raru - let's just say a whole bunch of Christmas presents ordered beginning November last year arrived way too early for Christmas this year - I've been looking for a new preferred online retailer.

Checked out WIA previously but immediately discarded them because of rather exorbitant prices.

Revisiting them at the moment and, wow, their selection is huge in comparison with any others I've checked out. Their prices though :nutter:?

On average from 50% more to twice :faint: as expensive as their competitors.

Never been a business brain so rather mystified as to how they get away with it - am I missing something here?

Does anyone actually buy from Want it All? It's basically a bot-powered store that applies a standard pricing algorithm (with no underlying intelligence) across all products. How they're still online is a nothing short of a mystery to the known universe.

I once bought a camera from them. I think they must have had a mistake in the base pricing, because it was actually a good deal. Then I learned it's not even worth checking for anything else. I guess there's a sucker born every minute? Or it's someone's tax writeoff.

I have had quite a few dealings with takealot and found them quite agreeable to do business with. Prices more often than not lower than amazon and in some instances they have even undercut Makro.

My wife thinks Takealot is our second bank account.

I only use Takealot, but have also used Loot as their prices on games are the best. I find Wantitall way overpriced

Also consider Amazon, if they ship what you're looking for.

I ordered a fuel pump last week - was delivered today.
