One of my favourite weekend activities is to sit my study late Friday nights, headphones on and to listen to cover versions of great songs.
Shall we build a thread with favourites?

1. Foy Vance - Free Falling.
Most people have John Mayer's version of the Tom Petty classic either on DVD, CD or streaming. Many of you are probably familiar with Foy Vance. The man from Northern Ireland has collaborated with musicians such as Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Miranda Lambert etc and have released 3 of his own albums.
This is his version of the Petty classic. I toned down and slowed down version with excellent vocals.

2. Birdy - Skinny Love
Jasmine van den Bogaerde's mother is a concert pianist and she learned to play the piano at 7 and won her first talent competition at 12.
This is her version of Bon Iver's Skinny Love.

3. Espen Lind, Askil Holm, Alejandro Fuentes, Kurt Nilsen - Hallelujah
The 4 Scandinavians came to together to form a relatively successful band. Each found individual success to some extend with Kurt Nilsen arguably the most famous of them all.
This is my favourite cover version of the Leonard Cohen classic.

4. Disturbed - The sound of silence.
Most of you are undoubtedly familiar with the David Draiman version of the Simon & Garfunkel favourite.
