Looking for advice- Small headphone amp/DAC
« on: January 11, 2019, 11:01:51 AM »
Something I can use with my PC via USB. Toslink, RCA and coax inputs as well but it will be primarily used for PC through USB.

Not sure if it is available but my headphones have a mic so pass through back through the amp to PC for mic functionality would be great

i have tried hrt (not sure which model), korg ds100 & nuprime dsd.
all pretty good, but i have a definite preference for the nuprime, which would be my first recommendation.
is it just me or have bitcoin people gone a bitquiet because its a bitdown? #bitter

Audioengine D1 perhaps?

This adds an optical input, which the Nuprime doesn't have.
Not sure about the mic functionality.

For a little more $ (plus coaxial) this Audio-gd also still seems to be available:

I've heard the uDSD and Korg DS100M as well, must say I preferred the Korg but YMMV.
