Season?s greetings all, friendly advice from members, that are willing of course, would be appreciated.
I?ve had a Yamaha DSPZ11 (lovely old unit) going into protection mode over the last couple of months only to reset by unplugging the power cable, initially this was after being used at fair volume, for a couple of hours, but certainly not pushing limits. I decided to try the diagnostic function; only found amiss the DC1 and DC2 readings when monitoring the system seemed a millivolt or 2 out of the expected range.
Is this a sign that something drastic is about to happen?
I?ve read quite a bit and have an idea, but do not want to touch something this complicated.
I?ve also seen somewhere in the forums that the agents balanced audio certified tech in Cape Town details been mentioned, also alternative technicians have been recommended, given the receivers age that might be an alternative.
Any advice is welcome.
Cheers.
