So I?ve sat through a pretty great thunderstorm at home this evening (the ToTo song definitely comes to mind)...but as o was ho e and had just finished unplugging all the equipment upstairs in the lounge as well as the stereo setup downstairs (& then all other plugs in the house including Wi-Fi router kettles, microwaves etc) I wondered...

How many members on the forum do the same? Obviously I am very well covered by insurance should my place be struck by lightning, but even then I still go around unplugging.

Do any of you do the same? Is there a better to have them all plugged in & still protected? Like on a ups? Or something of the like?
