Ok so i find myself quite clued up with these things and im stumped. My UHD player died so i decided to get my xbox one instead. Man did they over complicate things and to save money made a mess of things at the same time.
So my problem...UHD players know of all the HDMI bugs so they add two ports so you can split the signal and sound to get a direct simple path. Xbox only has one out, not a problem i was thinking i would just add a splitter. No seems most of the 4k splitters are not worth SH*t for 4k same as most of the so called 4k cables. So tried going the conventional strait to receiver route and it does not pass 4k HDR to the projector. It does strait but not via receiver even that it should. So into hard settings and switch to 4k mode 1 so that it is all HDMI 2.0 and still no go...The only passthru that is going to happen is this thing and the window.
