Hi All,
Bought a LED HD TV, a blu ray player and the picture is brilliant, the sound does not really work. Have Yamaha RX-V450 Receiver and it worked brilliantly for DVD on the DVD player. But with the Blu Ray the talk is hardly audible, the sound effects around are ok. I think the Receiver cannot handle HDMI (connected by Coaxial with the Blu Ray) The Blu Ray is connected to the TV via HDMI. If anybody can help on that, how to get the sound right, that would be brilliant.
My hopes aren't high, so I consider buying an AV Receiver to get very good sound again. I screen the internet and then I cannot find the models in the shop, the choice is small, the prices high. I want to buy mid-range.
Anybody any good ideas in regard to shops, models to consider and the lot?
