As per my other thread. I am not happy with my portable aircon. Yesterday in Kloppers I could not believe the cold air blown by a water cooler. Now I do have one in one of my rooms. But even though it works, it's not close to normal aircon. But this one in Kloppers was really getting close to a aircon. The air it blows really is cooled a lot. But it's a heavy duty one. At least double the size of the normal R1.5K coolers. At R5000.00 it costs the same as a new portable aircon as well. But if it blows such cool air, while using only 250wattsof power, much less than a aircon,I do seriously think of buying one,but I do have a question or concern.
Since it's bigger and uses lots more water than my normal sized one, this one have water flowing over plates on 3 sides. Will there not be health or other issues pumping so much water into the air?
