I got these speakers yesterday from an old gentleman in my area. I was surprised to find them in such good condition ( cabinet and drivers ). Only 2 holes in the grill cloth and few nicks here and there. It?s a 3-way, 8 ohm, 60W speaker. There is a 50mm tweeter, 120mm midrange and a 250mm woofer ( all paper ). There is a crossover and from what I can see the tweeter is 2?nd order ( 2.8uF cap and 0.35 mH inductor). Midrange has a single cap - 6uF. Woofer is full range. Cabinet and front baffle is chipboard. I?m thinking of building a new cabinet using 16mm mdf and satin black paint. I want to retain the back boards as the stickers are on there, but it?s very thin so maybe I?ll glue it on top of a 6mm mdf piece. Front baffle maybe real wood.
