I need to get three 12000BTU aircons installed as my house is an oven in summer.
I currently only have a single 24000BTU LG in my braai room which has been running flawlessly for about 12 years.
Is it really worthwhile getting an inverter? They are about R2k more expensive per unit. They have to save a lot of energy to ensure a payback over a 5 year period, more so when factoring in they are more complicated and have a higher service cost.
Any brands to avoid?
