Left channel crackle and scratch

Hi,

I got my hands on a Sansui RZ-5100AV receiver. The left channel makes a crackling scratchy sound regardless of the volume level. It is definitely the receiver. Anybody have any ideas what it may be and who I could contact to perhaps fix it?
