Hello Friends
Another friend of mine up here have a Mc setup with C2200 pre and MC275 power amp, Dynaudio speakers, don?t remember model, 6" + dome, BR, pretty small but heavy as a korean car.
Been unused for a year or two but started up tuesday and a Clearaudio Concept introduced in system.
Sounded pure crap at first but come thursday line inputs sound as expected, good and with power and life in excess, but the TT still sonds pure crap,
the TT came fully assembled and adjusted from factory and should be correct, will check that thou.
The phono input on pre amp has never been used before and the tubes in RIAA stage are only powered up when that input is set as phono, (configurable aux/phono).
I doubt that components in RIAA stage has aged by beeing unused for 10+ years? Will check tubes, sockets and caps off course but my question here is if any of You have experience with this preamp and the phono stage?
