Hello friends.
I have a problem with my chromecast (ultra). the chromecast is not being discovered by any of my devices (phone/tablets/laptops)
I performed a factory reset and I performed the setup with google home. I got up till the point where I connect the chromecast to my network. This succeeds, but then from google home I get the message that although the chromecast is connected, the device cannot be detected.
Further googling pointed me to having to reset the modem and change modem settings. The settings are correct an a reset did nothing.
Whats confusing me is that this was all working perfectly for over a year until today. I woke up this morning and none of my apps had the casting option available.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
