About 2 months ago I purchased Polk Audio RTi A3 bookshelf speakers.  Not having space behind our recliners for some nice speaker stands, I mounted them directly on the wall.  Now they have a nice plate on the back that is super strong plus rubber stoppers at the bottom.  End result is that you hang it from the plate and the stoppers rest against the wall - unlike B&W for example.  Problem from Day 1 is they vibrate like hell.  Okay volume is loud and it's mostly classical type of music in movie sound tracks that causes the offending vibration.

My installer recommended Pretik but I refuse to use it as it either takes paint off your wall, or creates stains you cannot wipe off.

What is the regular solution for this problem?  :-\
