I traded in a really tidy Technics SL1200 mk2. No Dj use, just a advert production studio and home use and little carting around.
But the studio tech thought a bearing adjustment was a good thing and distorted the pivot bearing.
I decided this deck was so tidy I wanted to bring this properly back to life. A new arm was found and fitted and bar the missing original mat and the slight blemish of the Technics badge on the lid you would have to find a sealed NOS unit to get closer to New than this one. No chips. No cracked feet. Original Technics head shell and no wear marks on pitch slider faces.
Almost tempted to keep it and let go of a yammie direct drive instead.
