Speakers for my 35w Yaqin amp
« on: August 14, 2018, 07:53:29 PM »
I replaced my Paradigm monitor 11v4 with a set of Klipsch R28F'S.....find the voices and guitars/symbals are not as detailed or as "deep" as the Paradigm's. Was wondering if this has to do with placement or is it a Klipsch trait?
Was also keen on a pair of Vandersteen 1c's....does anyone here run these on valves?

I'm curious to see what your amplifier looks like. Did you buy it one AliExpress?

Did run 1C ' on valves,  they work quite well with the Manley Stingray. 90 odd DB sensitivity and even 20W is all that is needed.

Regrettably I sold my 1C 's.
