I have a Yamaha AX 596 which requires some attention. Initially it did not turn on. I have recapped the power supply board and the amp now turns on, but goes into standby mode 2 seconds after you turn on the amp.
It must be the protection circuit being tripped but I am not sure what is causing this. Does anyone have an idea where to look, or now if there are specific faults or problem parts on these amplifiers?
