Got the driver a while back from Mervin and the x-over components from Ian. Being a quick project I didn't do any design and just built them as the plan specified ( http://www.lautsprechershop.de/pdf/morel/eltim/yok_eng.pdf
Just changed the port to a round one, as I don't like the rectangular ones.
With all parts in hand I made some Mdf boxes, sides are solid Pink Beech. I covered the the Mdf with a home made veneer, and it worked out very well.
Here I'm placing the 4mm pieces on the box ready to go into the press.
Going it to the press for 24hours at +- 5 tones.
In progress....
Laying out the x-over getting the spacing right.
Making the pc-boards the quick way.
X-over done
Boxes sealed with Woodoc30.
TBC
