The last six months for me has been purist stereo, using older sources and much enjoyed.
Tonight I was in a different mood and listened to some 12" mixes from my 80's youth, put the Med8er/AVR/subs on and using 7 channel enhanced, in simple I spent several hours really enjoying it and probably all the neighbours too....artificial some may call it however all that kit with the volume wound up a bit filled that room to the max and took me back to happy times and good memories of times spent in clubs.
Am I the only one that really enjoys the benefits of simple stereo as well as the more modern enhanced setups for music listening? Was just wondering how many here are happy to swap between the two as mood arises? Pure stereo is great but after 6 months of 2 speakers I have to admit 7 channel tonight gave me just as much enjoyment in a different style.
