the tannoy nfm6 ii that i bought from chingy arrived safely today. ( after being thrown off the aeroplane for "excessive magnetism" :BWAHAHAH: :BWAHAHAH
as a first listen i set them up only computer desk. with a little ava media digital amp doing duty.
certainly a bit bass shy (i think the amp may also contribute to that), but my word, they do sound incredible. detail, imaging & presence is astonishing. will definitely try them with the predator and the brio r during the weekend.
i've been keeping an eye out for a set of tannoys for a while since hearing a pair (not sure which model) a friend of mine had a while back. these are certainly no disappointment. :Whoohoo: :Whoohoo:
