I feel that if you have proper speakers you don't need a sub at all, reason for these subs are purely for movies.  Tested them in normal sized rooms and they work fine, you just dont turn it full blast. Also obviously you wont buy the 600W unit if its a 4 x 4 room then you opt for the 200W, which would work perfectly..
Yes Vaughn, I was referring to the post heading of 12' subs. I'll stop being clever.

Finished testing the amps and subs, and decided on 3 models. 100 series will have a 300W and 400W front firing 12" and the 200 series will have a 12" downfire 600W.
they sound incredible and will not disappoint!
Will these be done with the new 200 series?

This stereo record cannot be played on old tin boxes no matter what they are fitted with. If you are in possession of such equipment please hand it into the nearest police station

Having issues with this new law where every electronic unit has to get NRCS (SABS) letter  of approval at R30000 per unit!! We wanted to launch 4 units but at R120k to get those letters that they are approved for use with ESKOM power. Im starting to think about just having 1 model.. :(
Just another clever way for our government to steal our money and force us to pay them unnecessarily!

They would have been something in th lines of : (retail)

150W - R 2999
250W - R 4500
400W - R 6990
800W - R 9990

Just say they were made in China they dont need to get SABS (NRCS) tested from all the crap I've seen them flood the market with.
Time to get back to when I enjoyed listening......no more upgrading, more of a headache than a pleasure
