Any news/info/pictures on the smaller Carolus 6.1?
Nothing on the website yet.

The Carolus 6.1 is a reality, I have not heard it yet, reports are all good though. No specs or pics available yet. I believe that a batch is planned next month.

I see the smaller 6.1 speaker has been revealed:

I like that it's front-ported.
Plus it certainly looks the business.

Hi Nidri.

Yes, my apologies, the new Sonor Audio web site went up a week or two back.

Are you in the Cape?, if so I could organize a demo for you, no obligations. Sonor are exhibiting at the Munich High end this week and will return next week.

Cheers.

Lance.

Been a long time since the “look” of a Sonor appealed.  I quite like the look of these.

@ Hi-Phibian,   jip, agreed, this latest Claro range is definitely Sonor's best effort so far, much better in looks and finish and a good step up in performance over the previous range.

Thanks for the comment!

I think you can leave the ball in my court.
I will reach out when the time is right.  :)

Agreed.
The design is 'serious', but somehow not as plain-looking as many box speakers can be.
I think it's the baffle that gives it a unique vibe.
Vaguely reminiscent of the older Dynaudio Contours.
But very much its own thing - not saying it's derivative.
Only so many ways you can build a box, after all.

True.   Nothing wrong with a bespoke box looking box to me.  It’s some attempts to not look like a box that end up looking far worse.
