Is it possible to sell them for more than their actual worth?

If so, at approx 10k e-bucks a month, I could realise a 15% return every 30 days based on your asking price! For zero outlay!

It makes sense for someone on level 5 rewards. 40% Discount on selected vouchers justifies the premium.

Exactly the question I had has last time :)

Yes, as gov said - if you're on on a high level and get a 40% discount, it makes sense. I've just bought a R2,000.00 (face value) shopping voucher at Old Khaki and paid 12,000eb as I'm on 40%. So if you were selling me 1,200eB at face value, I'm scoring R800.00 worth.

The value is getting less with rules, caps etc - but there are still 40% items that you need in pay in eBucks. At worst, 1:1

A few months back rate was 14.5c per eBuck

The vendors that have a 40% discount on their vouchers are very few at the moment. When Makro and Checkers offered the discounts it was worth it to pay more than face value.

Old Khaki is a great option, my favourite clothing store

Cheers, thanks for this.

I need to look at the whole eBucks story a lot more closely. It's never something I've ever even thought about, we just use them at the end of every year to buy presents - usually electronic stuff for the children - last time we got 2 x iPads & 2 x iPhones for them!

Yup :(

But like I said earlier, there are still products in the store like toys, laptops, Kulula flights, Avis etc which are less the 40% with no caps. At R2,200.00, you're effectively getting a R3,600.0 product - so a saving of R1,400.00. But - I do agree with you it's lots it's value.

It was something that prevented me moving banks, but I'll now at least consider Discovery Bank

Lenovo i3 @ R7,999.00 but R4,799.00 eBucks (40%)
DELL: XPS13 9360 @ R30,999.00 but R18,599.00 eBucks (40%)

My gripe is that they don't seem to have what I want. I wanted a 65" Q7F and would gladly have used 1:1 on Takealot, but there were R8,000 more expensive! I'm now trying to get a PS4 Pro - also can't get it

Monthly limits per user on purchasing them within the eBucks store but you can buy and hoard them for a few months and then use them all in one go, or get someone else to use up their limit in the ebucks store and then send you the vouchers. Many ways to skin this cat  :rubhands:
