"Best voice" is extremely subjective.

There are some very talented vocalists like Celine Dion, Mariah Carey etc who can reach notes very few others can and some other like Katie Melua, Alison Krauss etc with very pure voices.

If anyone would ask me for a list of singers that can show what the human voice can do, my top 3 list would probably be:

1. Freddy Mercury (probably the most talented vocalist in the history of man kind)
2. Kurt Nilsen
3. Celine Dion

You and I are on the same page with 1. and 3.

Check out Kurt in this video. Fan made comparing his vocals on Leonard Cohen' Hallelujah to that of Bon Jovi ( :sulky: ) and KD Lang. He starts singing at 2:00.
He is from Norway and won the Scandinavian version of Idols some years ago. He has an extremely powerful voice.

i agree with most of the artists listed so far. I think these guys also deserve a nod:

Amy lee from evanescence
Skin from skunk anansie
Adam Lambert

Rated on their ability to make the hair on the back of my neck stand up!

Scheiße!!! Now it's my top 4, although i don't see Frank singing "I want to break free", he sure as heck sings "I did it my way" so effortlessly in a goosebumps way. The days of real talent.

Amazing voices (for me) are the following:

Streisand
Jon Bon Jovi
Freddie Mercury  (brilliant.  *can barely believe somebody else acknowledges this.)

Definite runners-up (4me) are:
Jennifer Rush
Mariah Carey
Terence Trent D'Arby

Cliff Richard only plays it safe in his (limited) vocal range? :nfi:
