Does the real carbon have a tech reason?

Yes 0-100 goes up by at least 0.5 of a sec. This depends on the wind drag from the port but it should still see good results.

I guess my point is carbs n fibre is associated with higher costs and performance advantages.  There probably are some from a composite baffle in terms of rigidity.  One would have to make this a feature imo else
It just comes across as unnecessary expenses.  Not value.

I think.

Carbon fibre is a recognised luxury finish. It's not always required to be functional.

only if its real carbon fibre - the fake stuff is just sad IMHO

to be honest though i reckon if you do have the speakers painted in the gloss piano black then it might look good with a carbon fibre baffle

We wont be doing a carbon fibre, Morne might want to custom his own.

CF wrapped baffle is just wrong. CF on the sides, even imitation CF, is a completely different story. Leaves many options open and available. Like, gloss baffle and top cap - choice of colours, or wood/veneer top and bottom caps, etc. - imagination is the key.
