So this is my Moms set-up....

  • Samsung 32" LA32C530 (TV) - http://tiny.cc/samsung32
  • Teac DR HR-300 (DVD) connection=HDMI - http://www.teac.co.uk/products/reference-DR-H300.php
  • Digistar D700 (Satellite) connection=Component - http://dgstb.com/D-700.htm - Sentech not DSTV  :p

The problem I am having setting up the TV for my mom is that the Lip Sync is out with the satellite receiver... Mother reckons its out with the DVD too - I don't see it...

Any ideas?

Irritations...

There are only two sources being used. Is there no way to disable all the other multitude of sources so that pressing the source button (on the remote) a person does not have to cycle through so many options... I have looked through (the rather sparse) manual and not found anything.
A fly out menu comes out when you press the same source button... It switches the source but the menu doesn't fly back (retract) without pressing the enter key (many buttons away from the source key)... Thus making a simple cycle from source1 to source2 a multi-button operation...
