I recently purchased an Onkyo NR626 receiver and noticed that when I change the sound scene modes (I.e. stereo on scroll through the movie modes etc) keeping the sound source the same, the receiver takes about 5-6 seconds before changing the mode. It basically goes silent for those 5-6 seconds while it changes the sound scene mode. Never experienced this delay with an Integra or Yamaha amplifier so wanted to know if this is normal.
Any advice for onther Onkyo users and particularly NR626 owners would be greatly appreciated.
