If you want a non remote switch Mantech has a Lorlin rotary switch with silver or gold plating, it's great value.

For remote, there are a variety of selectors with volume control on ebay, or analogmetric.com

Sorry for the thread hi-jack, a friend wants to build a soundbar for himself and some sort of volume control via IR is currently what we are missing.
What would one search for to find such a product?
Amps: 4x LJM L15D
DSP: MiniDSP NanoAVR HDA & UMIK
Speakers:DIY Full Range Phillips AD12202 & Speakerplan's X15 on loan
Sub: DIY 12" ported & Peerless 10" Sealed on loan
Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT770 LE
