Ok so I have 20 odd cassette decks NAK, Technics and a few others, also fiddle with DAT and DCC.
Just bought my first machine with Dolby-S A Denon DN-790R which also has the ability to self calibrate BIAS per tape type.
I and astounded and the performance of Dolby-S and metal tape if I did not love my other collection of decks so much I would just get rid of the lot, however they are too collectable but this deck walks all over them. Who else has experienced this? Pity it was released so late and CD killed it off rapidly.
