Looks amazing
Plus now you can claim all your cables are properly shielded with solid copper

Looking good, hope you are running some wire through before itís all in place just as a guide so you can pull the cables through the bends
Thanks. I vacuum string through the pipes, then use that to pull the wire through.

Was also wondering about those tight bends but figured you had a plan. I would never have thought of vacuuming string though, was thinking more along the lines of fishtape.

Whilst this little fabrication is going on (and it will be going on for quite a while still), letís entertain some member thoughts on speakers!

I will likely be purchasing a replacement speaker package once this is complete. The two current SVS subs will remain, so weíre talking the balance of the 7.2.4 package.

Bentley Acoustics? I have not personally experienced them, but hearing good things... plus, those copper toned drivers could really compliment the rest.

SVS? Their elevation models would work well for my high mounted SL and SR, as well as the 4 atmos channels.

Before anyone asks budget, letís rather say Iím looking for good value.

Components are all Marantz, being separate processor and power amps 140w @8ohm per channel.

Update:

So after the first weekends work on this project, Iím feeling a a whole lot more confident in my pipe brazing and measuring. I must say that as each sequence of bends and cuts is finalized, I get more excited about the prospects of the final result.

Besides all the copper work, Sunday was spent marking walls and moving the absorption panels to accommodate the new pipe and speaker positions.

Speaker choices have been made, and thanks Vaughan again for hooking me up with the Jamo kit. Surrounds will be C90 kit, and hopefully by the end of this week will have the 10.5 K4ís for the 4 atmos channels.

Thanks everyone for the support and motivation.

Mounting the copper to the wall... lots of thoughts. After a few sketches and then the final design, have ordered these to be fabricated in meranti! Only problem... 2 weeks wait .

I did consider, but have stuck to what I am very familiar with in extending my current Jamo C range. Arrives today. A worthwhile consideration though...
