Hi guys.
I walked into a 2nd hand shop the other day and saw this portable bush tt. Price was good so I bought it. Got it at home and plugged it in and it lights up.
Opened it up and cleaned the dust off with a brush. Plugged it in again and it actually plays.
Looks like the changing mechanism will also work properly after a strip and some cleaning.
So the mechanical side looks good.
Placed an old lp on and it doesn't sound bad either, but I believe there are some rectifiers and caps that I should change? Also the cart can flip with a 78 and a lp flag on. The stylus on the lp is broken.
And can anyone tell me how to test the valves.
