after the recent windows 10 update my audio stopped working.
i tested the hardware. uninstalled & reinstalled the drivers, enabled & disabled the device with no result.
had a look on the web and found some recommendations to disable the device, restart the pc with it still disabled, & then enable once restarted.
tried that & it worked.
i just thought i would post in case anyone else is having the same problem.
