A77s and B77s need their entire complement of capacitors replaced. While the components are not that expensive, it is a time consuming job, so not trivial or cheap. Same with the Ruwido trimmer potentiometers.
If the record & repro heads are worn, the new ones are VERY costly, as is the new pinch roller.

Still, a well restored B77 HS is a spectacular machine.

The SLS and LS variants are not really worth spending much on, they were intended for voice logging and while very frugal with tape usage, they do not record/reproduce music wonderfully.
