I've been busy at my mixing desk for a while now.  I've successfully managed to narrow-down to just 2 MIXES.  Now, since I'm monitoring strictly from cheap (albeit pretty decent) headphones, I currently have no means to test on "real" speakers.  Am hoping our members will download, have a listen (for fun) and then maybe do a more critical listening session, if only to point out any faults within the mix.  I've added the slightest bit of reverb, and am curious to know if this has any negative acoustic side effects.  Headphones can't tell me me that.

There are 2 files, the 1st is somewhat closer to the original studio source, but has been processed with more depth and a slight stereo widening.  (The original was almost completely DRY, and used minimal panning)

Download version A here:  https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ap4CjFwRFtKVgRoyjIMXsFhDRX75

The 2nd file was processed similarly, but the focus was more on vocal and bass.  Please choose the better mix (according to YOUR ears), and either post your impressions here or PM me if u prefer.  The song is written and performed by myself 17 years ago.

Download version B here:    https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ap4CjFwRFtKVgRtx1RIAruHHIVwA

*PS.  Files are MP3 320 @ 12mb each.  If you're limited by prepaid data, and perhaps curious, but have no real intention of comparing,  then I suggest you download the 2nd file.  Bass is usually more popular.  ;)

*A number of you already have the DRY studio version I posted here for download a year ago.  Would be EXTREMELY helpful to hear YOUR impressions regarding the quality of these new mixes.

Thanks in advance for your help.    :dop:
