SpeakON cables and connectors
« on: April 07, 2018, 08:13:12 AM »
Where is a good place to buy 4 pole SpeakON cables and connectors?
I only need short cables (1m to 5m) so might be worth buying a long one, cutting it and buying extra connectors.
Looking for something cost effective but with quality as good as that of the Neutrik connectors.

As good as Neutrik would be Neutrik on speakon.  Donít think any of the clones I have used aver seemed quite as nice.

I've never had issues with the clones but obviously they can never compete with the build quality of original Neutriks, expecting anything else would be foolish. But then again they are probably 1/5 or less of the price per connector.

Clones are probably fine if you aren't going to be plugging them in and out all the time, like a pa getting setup and broken down every day, if that's the case best to get the originals because the clones can't take the punishment.

The "neutrik" connectors I got with Beta3 speakers are much better than the genuine Neutrik ones I got.  Except that the genuine ones have a cable sleeve.
I'd never seen them before, had a bit of a problem working out wtf, poking around with a screwdriver, one of the separators between terminals broke off.
So I wish I could find out where to get the ones that Beta3 use.
