Hi - I recently bought a mini HiFi LG2460 with Bluetooth for my large screen and projector - the setup does not warrant a full dolby system as it is used very seldom and is not a permanent setup. Obviously the bass is a bit lacking and I was wondering if connecting a sub to the mini hifi would boost it a bit. The amp is 50w (RMS) per channel with a freq response of 80 to 20000. (Not very low hence my question). I would connect the sub via the speaker outputs on the amp and the satellites to the sub's speaker outputs hence not via RCA obviously.
Maybe someone has some experience in this setup.
Would the bass be boosted or not really.
I have dumped the supplied speakers for a pair of Warfedale Vardus VR100's (10 - 100w). Impedance of the amp is 6 ohms.
