Thanks Sean. At first...very disappointing, but after sorting out the tweeter attenuation and the port they sound quite good to me. Then again Iím no pro so they might sound crap to you

If they sound good to you they are good... :thumbs: often some careful listening will adjust your views but thats how it works!

I must say they are not so energetic, but Iím getting nice low frequencies and punch from them. The wife and kids like them cause they like listening to doef-doef

You've got yourself a pair of nice looking speakers there that you will enjoy for quite a while (until the bug bites again) and you have learned a lot. Congratulations on keeping things simple; my first pair was a three way ported system and it cost me endless tinkering, testing, replacing before I got them sounding even half decent.
